Peddapalli district has Mancherial,Jagtial districts in the north, Bhupalpalle district and Maharashtra in the east, Bhupalpalle,Karimnagar districts in the south and Karimnagar district in the west. Peddapalli is the capital of this district.
National Highway 63 passes through this district. Major towns in the district are well connected by roads. Delhi - Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Chennai rail route passes through this district. Peddapalli - Nizamabad rail line connects it to Nizamabad and other neighbouring districts. Hyderabad is the nearest airport.
